Does shield crush affect monsters in face up and face down defense position? Another question that isn't directly related to the card... but are the premium pack cards tournament legal as of right now? Thanks!

1. ANY Defense mode monster, no matter face up or face down
2. I dont think so because they haven't been officially released to the public

any confirmed information about whether or not premium packs are legal?

I don't have the link right now, as I'm writing this on my DS, but I've checked UDE's tournament policy files before, and the Premium Pack was listed as becoming tourny legal on Oct. 10th.
