It's time, once again for........EVENT WRITE-UP!!!


OK, this week's event is repeating history, and I decided to try out the BH I pulled after the last campain. So my army was:

Bounty Hunter
DF ATVs x 3
Republic Zahn
Liao Arrow IV Tank

At a previous venue I played the same army with a Liao Zahn, but didn't do so great.

At this place, just me, my buddy, the BM, and his son showed up. Me and my buddy both played Liao, and the BM played the person with the Bye. So the championship was going to go to the person who beat the son the worst (He hadn't played for a few months).

First round, I played the son (his name is Derek). He had the following army:

Republic Black Knight
Liao Arrow IV
Republic Cavalier
BR Peasant
Merc Zahn
BR Glory Fire
SS Glory Fire

The SS Glory Fire was in the Zahn.

I got first turn. Immediately, BH ran up to just in front of the hindering. The ATVs got deployed right in front of the Arrow IV (foolishly, it didn't have any units touching it at all, and the front was sticking out of the DZ, so could have taken a trio of potshots with the ATVs, but I formation moved them into the Arrow's rear instead. For my last action, I advanced with the Zahn.

Derek's first move was to move the Knight into range of BH. He tried breaking away with Arrow and failed. He then moved his Zahn around the corner of the building on Liao's left, closest to the Republic DZ.

My next turn, the Black Knight got smacked by BH. Then two of the ATVs pushed to flame the Arrow. He then tried to retreat with the Knight. BH moved up to right next to the Knight, right next to the Hindering. The BR Gloryfire then moved into hindering, the the Arrow successfully pushed to breakaway and moved into hinder. Withing four inches of the Gloryfire. The Zahn promply dropped the Arrow IV and the Arrow IV dropped a pog right between his Arrow IV and the Gloryfire, while the BH vented.

He didn't move either, but the Zahn moved closer to BH. The pog drifted but got the Glory. An ATV then moved to base the Arrow, and next turn flamed and killed it. It was downhill from there, with BH knocking the Knight into savagage, killing both Glories. Finally two ATVs and BH finished off the Knight, and the BH ended the match by charging the damaged Zahn.

My studyhall is ending soon, so someone bump this so I can tell the tale of how BH took down an army consisting of a BR Sprint holding a DF Salamander, two SS Balacs, and a SW J-37 holding 3 SS Towed Autocannons.
