I just received Maclodia Saavedra in the mail, completing my 894 pt. Alpha Command Lance for the Wolf's Dragoons. This lance consists of Maclodia Saavedra, Geo Keane, Collin Tolek, and Collin Yukinov, for those who don't know.

Anyway, this is my first complete lance, and it seems brutally powerful. I know there are 2 complete HL lances, 1 Complete Liao Lance, 1 complete DF lance, and 1 complete SSw lance.

I wanted to start a discussion on lances, which are best, how to use the, and which incomplete ones are shaping up nicely. Battle Planner is a nice way of looking at lances.

I think the Dai Da Chi lance for Liao, consisting of all-Elite Catalina Trujillo, Hoa Phiri, Jung Chae, and Vincent Altman, is incredible. All the current lances available now are pretty nice.

if claretha francis' lance shapes up anything like claretha herself, it will be devastating and cheap! but the star with Elora wolf in it could be really mean, except for elora.

i'm thinking that the star with declan, youree, and faisel will be a strong star to contend with. along with the star with zabhia and arnis.

I'd like to see that Lance for Dragon's Fury be completed, the one with Erin Johnston, Antonnia Chinn, and Viki Drexel. I really want to see the Assault Command lance for the Highlanders, the one with Eriabee Childs and Rotem Fridberg, completed. I really think that's going to be a powerful lance.

One little problem. Although they are a lance, they can't perform formation actions, being mercs. So right off the bat, another lance can decimate your big gun, Geo Keane or Colin Tolek by pounding them with a 3 piece formation with a guaranteed hit (10 atk +4 formation, 14 against a 25 defense tops, only needs an 11 to hit, if you're in HT)

What are the complete lances fo DF and SSw?

The Dragon's Fury Neophyte Pursuit Lance is made up of Miguel V, Hitoshi Sato, J. Sterling, and Janina Lukic. All of these mechs for 500 points. I can't wait to try them out in a game.
