Jade Falcon descends on stores this August! Jade Falcon, one of the most popular Clans from the classic BattleTech® universe, debuts in the upcoming Falcon’s Prey expansion. The amazing sculpts of Jade Falcon are the best MechWarrior units to date, and they bring a whole new look and feel to the universe. This highly anticipated set also features special gray-based Limited Edition ’Mechs® and new tactical options with the addition of new faction abilities like Merciless and Enhanced Imaging, and special equipment like Full Strike and Homing Beacon.
Win instantly! Lucky players who find and return the instant-win certificates inserted into select Falcon’s Prey Boosters will receive one MechWarrior: Dark AgeAurora-class DropShip. For complete rules, go to mwdarkage.com.
I like the looks and sound of the set. Full Strike SE will probably be the "Mechs shoot with both primary and secondary in one order" ruling that many have desired.
LE's that you pull from booster packs? Definately a way to generate sales. If this set doesn't light the fire underneath a fence sitting Mechwarrior:DA player, then not much else will (Faction and nerfed unit whiners aside)
Scope out the disclaimer at the bottom of the release, seems either Draddog or someone in marketing was thinking about the future. Bravo!
Me neither. The look of the new units is awesome. I'm hoping for some Falcon non-unique battlemechs. by the way, take a look at those elementals. That must be one of the best paint jobs I've seen in MWDA for infantry.
Wow, those mechs look magnificent. After some of the goofy sculpts we've had so far...I'm impressed. Awesome looking mechs. This set is going to cost me more than I thought...
And the elementals look great too. I was hoping they'd show up eventually.
Nice looking 'Mechs. I recognize the GyrFalcon, but I wondor what the rest are. I noticed that they removed the name from the little vehicle on the bottom.
The designs look nice. But tell whoever designed those mechs to quit watching so much Gundam. It's affecting his/her judgement. :)
Hum .... I predicted an August release and I was right. I'm starting to get pretty good at figuring WK out ... well ... at least their release schedule. lol.
Do you guys think that the gray-based Mechs will be identical to standard uniques in the set, with a gray base only for collection purposes, or will it actually be a different unit? I thought there might be a precedent from Mage Knight or something.
