i just did a silly army one day for kicks... it had ceaser spano (vv1 ranger for ss) it had mining mechs (un-modded ss) and some ambulances... ohhhh had a partisan with some speical forces... i forget the compisiton.... but anyway... supprisngly it won.... no one was expecting the rambulance mining mech bumber bots
for that one screwy RotS senerio, where there were Highlander prizes, i played Joel Brane, RotS Balac, x3 Mobile HQ, and the rest peasants.
I actually one a few games.
i also use x3 Koshis and Joel Brane and a hoverbike in a casual game, but he used the SS Atlas, and infantry...all i could do was charge, and he tried to prevent that, and i missed all my charges that i made...i lost
2 SC black hawks, Melissa nova cat, and few other things. I was laughing thru all 3 games. With the 3rd game taking out the SW Kodiak with 2 alpha strikes.

Yea, can't forget about the trio of locusts you ran another time. Man that was hell.
The 56 infantry pieces i ran for Liao Velvet was pretty funny... especially when I infiltrated all of them in clean little rows right in front of my third round opponent's DZ.
Nothing but row after row of peasants. Ended up with over 260 points for VC 3 that game alone :)
In 300, Paladin Jonah Levin. It was for the scneario ages back where the wall of fire kept moving forward each turn. The funny thing is that Jonah's luck held out (as it was luck that won it in the end) and I took out the tournament win. I still have a photo of me with an amazed expression on my face as I look at Jonah in one hand and the prize redemption form in the other.
Played a 'themed' scenario once where I was the 'rebel' player and restricted to using only peasants, industrial mechs, Shandras and Rangers. My opponent got 50 fewer build points than I did, but could take whatever he wanted. It was pretty pathetic, he took a bunch of artillery (pre-nerf), stood off and bombarded my peasant mobs into submission while screening his guns with a particularly nasty fattie. But it was fun to try something different, where you had to play a garbage army...
