The boards have been pretty dead lately, and maybe some piece vs. piece discussion could liven things up a bit. So how about:

"One-eyed" Jack Farrel VS. Erin Johnston

Erin has slightly better damage, more special equipment, a longer dial, and better attack value (sort of), while Jack has better mobility and range. Who would you prefer?

jack, both weapons have 4 targets has 14" range, better heatdial, and almost no repair markers.

erin needs 2 get in 12" 1st and has a not so pushable heatdial as OEJ has. though 10 improved with armor pierce is nice though, still 11 attack with better range suits me fine.

havent really played with the other 2 jupiters yet, perhaps u could add them 2 the comparison aswell?

if its a stand a shoot type deal, erin beats any mech i can think of. When you start adding in heat dials and movement and range ect... you can debate things forever. (just look at that dereck thread)

in reality, i think OEJ can set it up so that Erin never really gets a shot off unless she risks heat effects.

with that said, i think OEJ is one of the most over-rated mechs in the game. I definitely fear fighting erin more.

Nope. Leala will be out for sanctioned events as well, since she was DFA, and not LI, CA, or FP.

ANd I played Leala VS Erin once, and got spanked by Erin.

Interesting fight, I'd give the match to Keane due to the fact that he's a merc and mercs tend to be better for their points, but Leala would put up a decent fight

well it would depend on who its first in the keane v.s. leala match and if it was keane he would win and if it was leala she would win so meh
