Who could that be in the Casket...... It cant be Levlin..... or could it. God i cant wait for this book to come out. Maybe its the death of either lyran or Davion power outside of the republic.
Could be Victor, maybe a recap of his funeral or even the actual funeral itself (time in the novels can fluctuate. ToO is about April 3135 while SJ is Dec 3134. SoS could be set in Jan 3135 in the beginning, with the main story a few months later).
it couldnt be Victor. Hes already been laid to rest.
He has? I haven't seen it documented in the last two books. We're talking about
the most influential character to grace the Battletech universe since General
Kerensky and Stefan Amaris. The man in the coffin is Victor - you can count on it! ;)
Hey David, you forgot his old man Hanse. Now Hanse I would have followed to the gates of hell.....Victor would've led me straight to heaven, being the goody-two-shoes he is, lol.
Lol, it has to be Victor, and half the people at the funeral are there to make sure he's dead.
Now I definitely can't wait til April. The Sin City movie and a new novel by Loren Coleman! And all the leaders of the IS coming to Terra! The possibilities are endless! Must go renew Battlecorp subscription.

Actually, I did consider the Fox. Yes, he did unite the two most powerful Houses
of the Inner Sphere when he married Melissa Steiner. However, Victor stopped
the Clan Invasion DEAD. I can't wait for the Ghost Bears to jump in and B-slap
the Falcons back to Strana Mechty! :devious:
Wait, Victor wasn't invovled in Tukkayid. He did go after the Jaguars, but that was well after the Truce. Victor did a great job of undoing the union, after getting rid of that nutcase sister of his.
It could easily be Victor in the coffin, and that could easily be either HD reps, or SwSw reps in front of it.
And did you note, the next book listed is August 2005, by Randalls Bills? No title, but I'm sure that will pop up soon. Daughter of the Dragon is June, so not sure what's up after that.

I STILL say he should have had her executed! Actually, I wasn't referring to
Tukayyid. I was referring to later, post Operation Serpent, on the Clan
Capital world of Strana Mechty. ;)
She was a nasty piece of work. Though I never thought that the various authors portrayed her media manipulations very well. She just didn't come across as very... likable. Even in her "official" press releases. Poor Yavoni? Victor's other sister. She was sooooo clueless.
I'll also note that we haven't heard much of anything from Clan Wolf for the last 50 years. Can we summize that Katherine F***ed them up as bad as she did her last ill-gotten empire? HEH
In hind sight I think I did like Hanse better then Victor. Hanse thought noble, tried to be noble most of the time, but not to the point of handycapping himself. Victor let himself get rolled over time and time again. Anyone else wonder what happened to "lil Victor"?
