A mission for capture and for the Bypass SE... not sure i will ise it since I don't capture many mechs. I kill them instead.... :devious:

Control as in you MUST bring bypass and must capture it, or do you just have to capture an enemy unit?

If it's just capture, then go take one of their infantry hostages and drag it back to your DZ. I doubt they'll miss that.

But if it's control? No thanks, really.

I'm glad to see a mission card that's more difficult than fliping a coin. Of course, the others are all so easy that we'll never see this one played.

Why would anyone possibly use this one when every other special objective seen so far is so much easier? Does it count for an extra 2 VC instead of 1 or something?

Don't forget that you can also bypass a tank, many vehicles are easier to capture and bypass than 'Mechs.

I think it comes down to what is defined as controlling an opponent's piece. If they mean bypass then yeah it is tough if a captured piece will work it would be easier and I think see more use. Of course I do have my thief army that this looks like tit would work well for Hmm.....

Control is not defined as capturing. It is defined as bypassing an opponent's unit. Only after bypassing an opponent's unit do you control it.

Right, one to skip. Not much controversy here :p.

This means the SH slyph will have some place being able to hang back at the edge of the board and fly in for the Bypass after the capture.

Seems hard but very fun to pull off :)

ah......... you both ######, is this why you play this game?? for fun and a challange...... i know ill be using it...... i can see armys will be built around this card...........

I think it will be interesting from a different perspective, me and my firends are planning on having a tourney where insteads of the usual VCs you just have three random VC cards, and I think this will make a quite interesting addition to the list of possibles.
