Interesting pilot ability. Could this be a glimpse of things to come?

Well, we knew Vanguard or whatnot had a lance of Liao unique mechs in wait. Now just to see what lance Jarta was in to perhaps see what the others will be...

Very cool though, If this is how they will finish lances and stars by re-releasing old mechs/pilots, with possibly new mechs, it would be very nice, although I would still prefer them with their old 'mechs, instead of "it got destroyed lol" to give them another.

I don't know, it sounds like Jarta's ability is a rehash of fanaticism, except it is super repair and it only works with those of the House Hiritsu lance. He also appears to have the same stats as Danai and seems cheap aboard his 'Mech.

I wonder if that means if there were any other pilots from Liao Incursion from his lance that will return (the members listed in his dossier). Well, hopefully there won't be duds among his lance.

So, now we wait for Davion and Steiner to pick up their lances.

would be cooler if they used both centurion sculpts and not 2 times the shieldturion, then again its the 4th of the shieldturion, they released about 6 centurions right? (hl, ss, df, br, sc, rots)

am curious what the other lance mates do (perhaps similar sort of ability when in same battleforce)

That and if he has no order token on him he gets +1 to defense :p

Now to wait until the statline is up on realms. Without knowing where his repair clicks are located, it is hard to gauge the abilities effectiveness. If their was ever a dwarf in Battletech, this guy is it. He sorta looks like a dark haired Enstien.

Not bad...though the 'Devotion' ability gives me pause. First, of course, I want to know just how many repair markers this guy has. But, it's 10pts for him in his preferred mech, so that part's not bad. It's another + to defense special ability (second one we've seen for Liao. This one's cheap, tough, and as I'm one to rest rather than vent.

The reappearance of a Warrior House pilot, though, is veeery interesting. While his lance may not be completed, there are other suspects for Liao that are unique.

Catalina Trujilo- Shen Yi (Good raw stats, streaks)
Tolin Men- Shen Yi (streaks/ECM)
Vincent Altman- Shen Yi (pulse boat, close-in missiles)

We've seen one Shen Yi, I wouldn't be suprised if we got another. However, I'd be more suprised if we got one of the same ones re-released.

Hoa Phiri- Tian Zhong
Jung Chae- Hellstar
Chee Yun- Ti'Tsang
Andrez Czupek- Yu Huang
Sandra Sung- Marauder II.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Sandra back, as part of me is really hoping Liao gets a Marauder IIC. Wouldn't be a huge transition for her, or even Jung Chae. Jung might make even more sense, as the Marauders are bigger on energy and Sung's Marauder II was a ballistic design. Still, Sandra Sung has a big link to house Hiritsu, and this is a Hiritsu lance, so I wouldn't be surprised to see her again. I don't think Jung was a Hiritsu warrior.

Weird... his mech costs more than Danai's mech but is a lot worse.....

I honestly always really like Felix, nice to see him back. Kinda an ugly guy though, but it's all good.

Sandra Sung is currently with the big MAC. She is actually part of Danai's lance. Her father (or was it her grandfather) was the famous hero Aris Sung was the character in a CBT novel, and he was with Warrior House Hiritsu.

However, Warrior Houses do not allow for heriditary positions, so off she goes the big MAC.

Jung Chae, Catalina Trujillo, Vince Altman and Hoa Phiri are all members of the same lance in Warrior House Dai Da Chi. This pretty much rules out them reincarnating in this set.

Tolin Men, Andrej Czupek and Chee Yun are members of the same lance in Warrior House Kamata.

Evan Kurst belongs to the newly resurrected Warrior House Ijori, as depicted in Coleman's novel.

Dmitry Voskvavich, Jacyn Bell and Clara Parks are part of the same lance in McCarron's Armored Cavalry, but it is a different lance from the lance of Danai and Sandra Sung. Yet another MAC lance has Rhi Chan and Flavio Rodriguez.

Choosing Felix Jarta and his Hiritsu lance practically rules out another old Liao unique reincarnation unless they moved to the Warrior House Hiritsu.

Personally I am not really fond of seeing another Shieldturion, and two mechs in a row for a mech design that is better associated with House Davion. Still having Felix and Danai gives a major boost in the Liao medium mech category, since they are so lacking there, and pre Domination gunslingers are way too expensive to recruit.

Still needs a strong light pilot (or two).

Oddly enough, Wan "Bruce Lee" Lau here also belongs to a Warrior House but no information as to which house he belongs to. With his family name wallowing in shame, it would be quite an interesting story how he got into a Warrior House.

The first 'Old' pilot remade into a card.... well, second, if you count Jonah.. and it's Felix freaking Jarta? Of all the useless buggers!
