IMHO I would use the EGM/Arty army. But I would upgrade the scout to a tough. Trade out the Thunder doom troll for maybe a centaur champ and a centuar Lieutenant. Just my 2 cents.
Unfortunately, I have a very limited collection of figures, and the Champs and Leutenants are figures that I don't really have. I will try to get them from a friend if I can find one. Until then, which army would you prefer if I could not get my hands on those units?
I dunno. I think the Mage spawn and Elemental army are very strong.
Here's one tip though. If you choose the Mage spawn army, start the bears away from the bond maker and near the wind minion - and then shockwave them all.
After you shockwave the bears twice, move the bondmaker over to reform the formation. And there you have it, enraged bears with no hassle.
Just make sure to not shockwave the tormented soul and bondmaker.
i will also be in that same tourney tonight burnoutz. im using an orc army that's taken out a dragon before with ease, no figs damaged. it has a half troll behemoth in it. but in my opinion, either use the mage spawn army or the EGM army u always us, since its so annoying:D
If you decide to play EL and don't have any centaurs, keep the Thunderdoom. You'll need a good charger.
I prefer the MS army, considering that you won't be able to add centaurs to the EL army. ShadowDeth's idea is very good, but would take a few turns until you got the bears shockwaved and the formation reorganized.
The Mage Spawn army is the best. But dont shockwave the Werebears, wait they get damaged by normal ways (ie: combat). If you shockwave your werebears to the best slots, any damage they take will weaken they.. so its better to use minotaurs warriors. But the Werebear army still stronger; you dont need harassers to get close the big guys, because if any big golem fire against the werebear formation, he will be helping you, not killing. Just dont lose the Bond Maker, be careful against Magic Blast and Bound (a good magic blast can destroy your formation...).

No you don't want to wait untill they get damaged, because any good player will simply capture their abysmal defense.
Don't listen to Orson, Burnout, he obviously wants you to get your bears cap'd :D
