It's definitely a new twist on an old formation, I'll give you that, but I don't see why you put the scouts in over other alternatives. What is your reasoning?

Probably to keep it all EL.

There are much better loner / harassers in the EL than woodland scouts. They're slow, can't hit, and even when they do hit, it's for 1. If you really need an EL support unit for this army, use warrior sprites. At least they can allow your troll formation to fire, then jump in the way of return fire.

I love playing Troll Arties, they are fun pieces.

This is a version I like to play for fun:

Corrupted Priest * x 1 - 48 points
Troll Artie ** x 2 - 66 points
Woodland Sniper ** x 1 - 20 points

Centaur Champion - 59 points

Imp ** x 1 - 7 points

Total - 200 points.

There's also a version with EGM, which is also very fun:

EGM - 68 points
Troll Artie ** x 2 - 66 points
Centaur Lietenant *** x 1 - 37 points

Shade * x 1 - 12 points
Mancatcher * x 1 - 16 points

Total - 199 points.

I really prefer the first version, the Champion rocks in 200 points.

I don't have any warrior sprites and I do want to keep it EL what figure do you sugest?

Consider simply using a *Centaur Lt instead of the scouts. Your army is powerful enough to win any range-stand off, use the Cent to get an edge if the battle becomes a close combat one.
