well, this isn't particularly my style, but... i'd go with nyx, and drop the warrior sprite for imps. i think with such a small number of figs, you're gonna need the harrassment.
now, for nyx. personally, i try to have a shockwaver in every army, so there's one. next, LI makes it nice and easy to get to a vulnerable part of your opponent's army. command is always useful. finally, if you're sure you're not going to lose it again, then you can always necro something back in a pinch. risky stuff, though. and remember, if you shockwave just one unit, you do full damage, but it still turns off all SA's.
now, for my arguments against the others.
ehremon: you've already got two chargers. he's a decent peice, but you've got is area covered.
athene: athene is nice but some people think only one slot of bound makes her pretty glass-jawed... plus, no command, and anytime you get that six with this army, you're gonna be happy.
on a side note, i'd consider throwing in a healer of some sort. optimally, you would get nyx into position, then push her to shockwave some troops.
I believe that Athene would match up better with a Destroyer than the other two heros. Crossfire is usualy a successful tactic, plus bound will let you more easily avoid the terrain.
Although, Athene needs a healer. I would recomend downgrading the ***Heavy Lancer to the weak version -- you don't need two giant bodyguards, Cormelian will hit anything big, and the *lancer will do just as good as the *** at picking off the remains -- and i would also suggest switching around harassment to add a **Centaur Medic to the army.
My suggestion would be Nyx. I feel she complements the Destroyer perfectly. On one hand you have the fig who can MB from behind terrain or figures and not be hit in return my Magic, and on the other hand, you have the figure who cannot be hit at all by ranged attacks and can shockwave or do regular ranged attacks herself. I feel they would have great chemistry in a "fun army" as you called this one. Let us know what you used and how it worked.
battlemaster: if you have to wait for the shaman, then you will slow down the army more than nyx would... and athene olnly has the one click of bound...
Athene is your best pick, trust me. Though it does only have one slot of bound, she can kill with effectivity...that is if you know how to use her right.
My first advice is to NEVER push Athene unless it'll kill the figure or would win you the game. remember that. In most of my games with her in my army, she had always been the only fresh unit left.
Next thing to remember, Athene NEEDS support. she'll be dead in a round if you're not careful. her low defense makes her incredibly susceptible to other bounders especially against scorpems. it would have no trouble with a striker if she hits him first. Try putting her in the range of healers when she bounds, or have someone with higher defense or LI to cover her front after she fires. Once again, Athene is not a commando, she is a team player. whose main purpose is to weaken (invul, toughness, battle armor figs) or to finish off a figure.
Skithee, i think you haven't played with Athene to see her uses yet. so don't dismiss her as easy as you did.
one more thing, try using levitators to bring her back into safety after she bounds "yoyo trick" or use a corrupted priest since it's got 10 range (is that right? let me check...)
