Well, guys, i've just got my regal, wich comes to complete my full Draco set!

so, i want to make a good Regal Army and it would be very nice if you (all killers and cunnig strategists) ;) posted your oppinions on my first approach and your Regal Armies in 200 (regal 200?) and 300 or more if it makes you happy!

Regal First Army:

Regal Draconum (of course) 178
centaur lieutenant*** x2
Centaur Medic*** x1
Amazon Mancatcher** x1

300 pts

Regal for range, lieutenants for cleaning, medic... well you know and the mancatcher go and show the house to the weakened enemies.

Given that the reagal is in use here, this is probably the best army you're going to be able to make with him in 300 pts. However when you play it a few times you're going to see it's weakness better than it could be explained here.

Of course that putting 178 pts (60%) in a single figure is reckless and will get you in pushing and sweats, but it's for fun,

and some crazy guy around here got 3rd place in a tournament with a regal and 3 werebears!!!

Anyway it's for fun!

i dont think this army would compete good in tournies however it would be fun playing with it.

I think you need some range insted of the lt.s

you can push the enemy troops with freeze and then have 1 guy with pierce or something for high dmg and another with Flame/Lightning incase of swarm. I would not rely on charge to protect your Regal

You're right,

but it would give me another long range army, i was looking for something not as common as the six 14" shooters with the freezer, instead of it, a clamp (with the two cl's) on the sides to lure the force towards the middle field and there freeze the mass and punch the big ones,

anyway, it's only to put the regal on the table and let him see some action with the friends.

by the way, i've been playing with it and it does pretty well in friendly games, but again i agree it's not for a tournament.
