I could replace one of the **Troll Artillerists with another *Troll Gunner. I want at least 1 Gunner for F/L against those KI swarms. We don't know what the terrain will be yet, but I would probably use deep water or low walls to keep the KI from staying outside of my range and basing in one turn. The Wyvern is a heavy harrasser, I don't think any KI have Toughness, so Venom will help. Terrain placement will be critical to keep a KI Charger from annihilating me. Suggestions, criticisms, etc.
Got an EGM? She'd be better then Eldricth and by droppping the imp you could upgrade your ranged formation. ALso I'd consider dropping the wyvern and seeing if you could have two bodyguards(the *** Horned HachtetKrugg are 44pt). That way the champ isn't over worked. The wyvern is nice but charge is better(for protection purposes).
and that is the way this army was originally designed. But the Eldritch has enhancement, which I thought could come in handy with the Gunners/artillerists. I was thinking of using the Wyvern as a heavy harrasser not as a bodyguard. Although overworking the Champion is a good point. I don't know if upgrading the ranged formation is the best use of points. The *Troll Gunners are the best for the points and I'm not sure if the ***Troll Artillerists gives me much over the **s for 6 additional points. Opinions?
Unfortunately Eldricth is single bas so two figs are gonna be further back. Meaning that instead of facing the wrath of all your trolls I can only engage one. Also is that one click really help that much? I'd seriously drop the champ if not for having more guards then consider this the champ has three or four clicks of charge after that no easy break, I love him for conquest but he can be swarmed easily after losing charge( and who is playing in Sept?). I wasn't talking about the arties, I'd consider the gunner first but really I'd want two bodyguards, cause I've got a 'gut' feeling that swarm and charge/swarm. If you want a harasser then think about the *** Fell Reaper, he moves faster, has toughness and can deal more damage. However it is your army and there are so many ways to play this type that in the end it comes down to personal perference.
