So I finally got a chance to pick up some minions. I got only 4 packs, which sucks because I usually get a case of each set, and I'm poor right now, and was really happy when I pulled an Amazon Draconum and a Glow in the Dark Phooka, or was it a Crystal Protector. It has the top of the Phooka and the bottom of the Crystal Protector. I know this happens every now and then but you would think on the brand new, special insert figures they could get it right. That, and I can't just switch the bottom with the regular phooka to fix it, because the bottom is glow in the dark too. So, I guess I get to send it in and go 6 weeks without the figure I was just so happy to pull. Thanks Wizkids, for making being a gamer that much mroe difficult.
hey, everybody makes mistakes, cut em some slack. you should be glad you had the pulls you did, I have bought twice as much as you and all I got was the executioner
You really can't expect them to be perfect all of the time. Just the other day, the Sunbane that was in my Heroic Quests pack had Captain Salidar's information in the dial. Everything else was fine, but the Sunbane was defective. All you have to do is send the Support department an email and they'll tell you what to do to get a fixed version of the figure.
Sure, I got a few messed up figures some times, but overall WizKids has succeeded in providing all of us some high quality products. The paintjobs and sculpts just keep getting better.
BTW, sending off the figure is no biggie. Sure, it will take a few weeks, but it doesn't cost very much to mail off a figure. Here in the U.S., it wouldn't even cost $1 for First Class shipping. I'll eventually get my corrected Sunbane and I'll be happy :).
gijared, I got twice as much as YOU and considering what I got (which was 16 Mindsifters, and nothing else), I would have bee happy to get an Executioner as trading bait.:(
I've had great experience overall with WizKids' customer support dept.
I've gotten the occasional broken/missing figure, as have some friends, but we just send 'em in for repairs. (and setting a great first impression on me, my first-ever booster of Rebellion back in the day was missing a figure. i emailed WizKids, and when I got back to school a week later, had a package waiting for me. They sent me a booster to cover the missing figure.)
Anyhoo, less than two weeks ago, I combined with 2 friends and mailed several broken/pieces-missing figures back to WizKids, and had a package this past Saturday with the replacements (10 day turnaround).
Sure go ahead and complain. They will have them whip the poor kids over in china who had the responcability to base 10000 figures an hour to make 10 cents for a week to feed his poor poor family (who is also working for 10 cents a week and getting whipped for making a simular mistake). Poor people all because you are so upset that they made a mistake See what you caused :)
Just return it to WK. This time of year the PO starts taking just a little bit longer. You are better off getting it their earlier. WK return time has gotten better. I got my last batch in 1 week from the day I sent it. Yes 1 week
Hmm, I got 2 Xandressan Sailors in the same pack a little while ago... One was foil and had the ** dial of the other, and the ** sailor had the foil dial :eek:
i have very good luck with pulling uniques...but not the foil figs, ive bought dozens of boosters of minions and average on unique in every three boosters, i have multiples of all the uniques, but not a single Amazon...im not complaining, the only thing worse than a female Draconum, is a black powder rebel...:mad:
