I'm putting together my first army and have limited pieces. I only have about 60 figs total and a lot of them are from dungeons and are pretty usless for Rebellion. All comments for improvement or why a figure shouldn't be here is welcome.
Some of the figs that I have but haven't put in my army are:
Bone Grinder ** Feral Bloodsucker **
Barber-Surgeon *** Feral Bloodsucker *
Crystal Protector * Khamsin Fuser
Mindsifter ** Dwarven Berserker * ** ***
Brass Commander * Amotep Incinerator **
Thorn Maiden *** Altem Guardsman * ** ***
Crystal Bladesman ** Amazon Bladesmistress **
Imp * Launcher *
Wild Mountain Troll *
Greetings, welcome to Mage Knight and MKRealms. I suggest that you take some time and search through the forums and red some posts from other realms members.
Some recommended reading: Any army posting, and the MKTAD (Mage Knight Tactical Archtype Dictonary. It can be found in the forums under, MKRealms Forum> MK: Rebellion> Battle Plans. Just suggested reading, not something that you MUST follow... also, I suggest reading the Rule Book and SAC (Special Ability Card). If you don't have them, you can find them on the Wizkids site, and maybe here... somewhere..?
I mention the Rule Book because of your 2nd and 3rd formation that you listed...
Figures must be of the same faction to make a formation (unless it is shyft and mage spawn...). Also, movement formations require a minimum of 3 figures, max of 5... same for ranged attacks... melee attacks can be made with a formation of 2 figures, but they need a buddy to travel in a group.
As far as you army goes. It's not bad for starting out. The blade golems are n excellent choice! I would add the CP (Crystal Protector) and drop the formation # 2... Keep the Robber and the Medic in the rear as your 4077 unit. Try and find 3 or so range figures from the same faction. That will allow you to make ranged attack formations...
If you get all of your figures posted, I may be able to help you more. Anyway, GOOD LUCK and just ask anyone if you have questions... Welcome! It's good to have you aboard!!!
Looks nice put in the other imp to make a exact 200 points and be a blocker and look at the second and 3rd formation you have in my opinion a large range of factions and will take a while to move. The leach medic is an easy target so give her extra guards if possible.
The brass commanders command can be used to heal the CP.
In addition the CP can act as a blocker with LI so your troops can get in range. The demi-magus can magic blast through the CP.
An army with good magic levitation/ram or bound may get you though... You didn't list your dungeons figures by anything with LI, Charge,Bound or Ram is worth considering as part of your army even if they are heros or magespawn. I'd consider replacing the Grave Robber and Barber Surgeon with figures from this pool.
