1st turn
Not very experienced but just thought to go blitzkrieg with the fell reaper (delivering him deep into enemy territory to take out healers or harass opponent's figs - forcing him to push - while whk gets into position).
2nd turn
Pull (or should i say "push") the reaper for healing.
Attack opposing warriors w/o tokens with the my amazon.
3rd turn.
Ram the opponent's threat with the krugg.
Heal the reaper.
I need help with this army. is 108 pts for a warrior too big in 200pt formats?
108 pts. is not big in a 200 pter. If you could fit Corphy, then why not AD. The problem with this is you are using the Fell reaper as a sacrificial lamb. If your opponent has a tough body guard a.k.a. Heavy Cav, your fell wont be able to return to its Momma. And i guess before it can base/harrass any opponents, it will face another big bounder in its way, so say goodbye to your fell.
I have made a 200 pts. AD army and i have playtested it with success.
I advise against using the fell reaper with the AD, I used it here and the first thing that fell was the reaper (of course he would, he is a fell reaper .. LOL)
hmm. the reason for the fell was bait. i was also wondering if anyone ever uses warriors as bait inorder to get on the action?(i think suavecito has on good bait-phooka) do any of you have good options to counter turtle strategies?
anyway, thanks for sharing your army build-ups. :)
I've seen and played several 200 point Amazon Drac armies lately that include autumn and a Krugg rammer. The remaining points are spent on some inexpensive LI piece (protectors).
If you used a Galeshi rammer in lieu of the krugg, you can get a BPR movement formation to cut actions.
Though I've penciled up a few versions on paper, I don't actually own a BPR rammer, and therefore cannot give you any reports of its effectiveness in tournaments.
However, I can say from experience that the Amazon / rammer / autumn army works well in 200 point formats.
This thing moves in a formation and can quite compete with Corphie's 1st strike. Ram Charger when MLed is 22 in compare with Corphie's 22in bound so he can get 1st strike when you use this army, the downside is GRC is quite glassjawed compare with WHK. But its has a range though. Just be sure that Corphy has a token before MLing GRC.
Here's a AD army that has done well:
AD
x2 Shadow**
Crystal Protector***
Podo
AD picks off figs with its bound while everything else blocks the line of fire from opposing figs. The shadows double as bodyguards for the AD, and the protector doubles as a healer.
