The new previewed MK figures look so sci-fi-ish, and not so fantasy. That is not a praise nor a complaint, just an observation (and perhaps it is just me).

I havent read all the posts in those threads, but I did read some of them and skimmed through the threads, and it seems to me people like them. Personally, I think the quality of the figures displayed in the previews are not that good (in terms of the sculpting, I am ok with the design).

Also, it seems like they are making A LOT of female figures for MK lately, in Pyramid, there are so many female heroes.. I cant remember exactly, but wasnt all the heros in Pyramid Necro and Knights female? With at least 1 female in every other faction from there (which would suggest that more than half the heroes are female. again, I am not entirely sure).

While I do not mind it (may be just a little), I do not understand why this is the case. If it is for the appeal female has on the male players, then I think it sucks. I just hate companies using female in their product to attract people, and I hate those people (even more) to actually buy into it (hopefully only kids are that lame)

it may not just be the men, chicks see little dudes and could care a less...than they see the other female figs and think...wow, this chick has a dagger...how cool

dude i think that they need to make for sc-fi figures, i think a change could be good for us all.

The AG have always been "techno" and the BPR have always had guns, so the KI/AG units are going to look a more hi-tech... what worries me is this Orc with a chain gun. I'm NOT looking forward for the time when the NS get laser pistols or the Elemental League gets alternative-fuel enviromently-safe bio-safe cars. (sorry, couldnt resist ^_~ )

still cool the most important is the good sculpt and more useful figs in an expansion

Stands to reason that youll pump out the most advanced weaponary you can to defeat your foe. Ecspecialy a foe whos building massive golems and has guns that can fire electricity a long distance, oh and who can make golems that run at like mach 1.

Well yes, first of all, Only Female people that i know have taken any noticed and recognized the female figures as being cool. Most men who are into the game head straight for wanting a blade golem or something of the sort heh.

Anyway, its not the fact that the brp Red Duchess of Khamsin now has a gun, i belive its the fact the gun looks better built than before, as with the armor and such. No longer do the thigns look "crudly built by hand" or "hammered in a blacksmith" the armor now looks as if its mass produced and sold at your local Armor venue, and the guns look like they were thrown together with todays technology, not the old Steam powered noisy technology of before..
