What happens if a mounted fig fails a break away, do they get to change their facing?

In addition, multiple-dial figures such as the dragons, chariots, and the tanks also cannot change their facing when they fail to break away.

If a figure takes the changes its facing due to the failure of breakaway, it would also trigger the opposing figure's Pole Arm.

It can also trigger it's own Ram if it free spins (non mounteds of course). It's almost fun to fail a break with a Pyre Spirit.

And if a mounted figure had Nimble, it can perform a free spin anytime you wish during your turn. Not sure what happens it a multi-dial figure works if it had Nimble.

Those two sentences have nothing to do with each other.

Changing facing after failing to break is not a free spin.

A free spin only happens whan an opposing figure ends movement in base contact with one of your figures. A figure with Ram that free spins cannot use Ram.

NOPE ... it won't as a mounted FIG don't have free spin .... and if it fails, then say, buh-bye to your mounted fig :) specially if it has a mortis up it's REAR arc :)

When a figure fails a break-away test, it is allowed to rotate. This is not a free spin. Mounted warriors do not receive this benefit.

A regular warrior can spin in place which qualifies as movement. Since it this is a regular move, it will trigger Ram, Polearm, blah, blah, blah.

No, because a mounted figure cannot choose to spin (or change facing) on a failed breakaway. That was the answer to the initial post in this thread. "Read the rulebook."
