Why do you think KI is the best or why they aren't the best.

ok i dont not think ki are the best but that doesent mean i dont have any respect for them i like them because of there defence and a few good figs but in the end they will all fall to the orcs (be cause are the best.) oh and WHy do you have a black powder rebel sign on your post when we are talking about ki??

Cause they are oriented toward Order and Good. Thus they are the "best".
How they ever got hooked up with those Order and Evil Atlanteans is a sad sight to see....

(Non-Storyline Answer)

1. Best mounted figures
2. Best forced march capacity
3. Cheap swarm tactics
4. (Newly arrived) ranged attack capacity - the Uprising figures may be expensive, but they give KI an FM/Bound option that should put them in the running for ranged-kill.
5. Best chariot

I guess there's more going on with KI than just those five points, but those five make them the most competitive of the "minor" clans.

Why aren't they the best? Because they're several thousand elves. The only good use for an elf is decoration for the top of a pike. They're just scrawny enough so that it takes 'em quite awhile to slide all the way down to the bottom. They also aren't green.

KI have awesome mounted figs.... like MEG for example.... great fig. Though.... Orcs do have 1 mounted fig better than any KI mounted.... Orc Captain :(

Does anything else need to be said?

People, unlike myself, tend to gravitate towards 2 things in Fantasy games: Knights and Evil stuff. Thus, this explains why the KI and NS are the favorite factions. Personally I go with the Ranger/Druid faction, having spent time using those classes in Everquest and D&D, so EL outshines all the other factions in my eyes.

AG is the best because of all of the cool technology and magic. they also have Really cool cities and War Machines.

The KI is second, because they have a very defensible homeland, well-trained and powerful warriors, and they are one of the best for conquest, because they have so many cheap, effective fighters. they also look really cool, and Standard bearers are easy to personalize.

and I personally don't perfer the KI, because I don't like most of their close combat stuff (which is like the whole faction)but I would say their not bad.
