Someone played a Sentinel the other day and I have a couple of questions.
1. Under General Rules #6 it says, "Can attack and be attacked by grounded, hovering and soaring characters with either close or ranged combat attacks."
Does that mean if I have a Green Arrow adjacent to the sentinel I can make ranged combat attacks?
2. Under # 7 it reads, "Can carry friendly figures per the standard rules of carrying figures. Sentinel constructs CANNOT make an attack while carrying a figure."
First, can a sentinel carry 1 or 2 figures? He can capture and carry 2 figures, but can he carry 2 friendly figs?
Second, does that mean that the sentinel cannot make a running shot while carrying figure(s)?
Would just like to get some official answers. Thanks.
BTW, the new multi attack rule is a little too powerful.

Provided Green Arrow is not adjacent to a non-flying opponent, yes.

First off, he can only carry one friendly figure. He follows the standard rules for carrying figures.
Secondly, are you reading the new Sentinel rules? I this #7 is "Cannot be carried."
Anyhow, yes they can make a running shot. At the time of the attack part of running shot they are not carrying anyone (the character had to be placed adjacent before the attack).
Is this line even in the new rules? I can't remember off hand.

Well, for "official" answers you might want to try the Wizkids forums and try to catch DrGandalf's attention. As well, if you feel that the new multi-attack makes the Sentinels too powerful you might want to bring that up there as well. This forum is generally inhabitted by people who don't have as much say in rules.

I agree. The multi attack is not too powerful. Flurry can be just as devestating. The sentinel does not have a super high damage or AV. He needs a good support staff to capitalize on the multi attack.
Well, I say that because the guy used 5 con artists, an invisible girl rookie and shield medic with a 200 pt. Sentinel. Being able to attack one character with two ranged attacks in a row from the same character is too strong. Flurry is a close combat attack not ranged.
Very True Flurry is a closed combat attack. And with 5 con artist Logan would be able to hit twice for 8. SO the sentinel made 2 attacks at 7 damage. Yes that is alot. But he cant do it alone. The multi atatck itself is not too powerful. By himself the sentinel (at 300 points) can shoot twice for 3.
It is no worse then A NightCrawler running from across the board and hitting you for 7 and then running out of range. Just a bit slower than the Sentinel. Or an Ultron fireing a 3 shot EE blast at your group while he is backed up by 3 rookie Psylocks and a sheild guy.
Yes, but in order for Logan to attack that way he needs to be right next to you. The Sentinel can do it with a running shot and still stay out of range. However, any figure is only as good as their supporting cast.
