I just got the Fist of Tezla cause I found it for just a bit more than dirt cheep. This got me thinkin'.... what do you all think is the best multi-dial figure? Best Titan? Or are these guys just too ####ed cost-prohibitive?

Multi-Dials are worth their point cost in Conquest.

My opinion:

Best MLD: Great Fire Dragon - retains a 13 to attack for the first 4 slots and can hit 3 targets with F/L. Starts off with 7 clicks of damage which can hit a single target really hard or can F/L a group for more.

Best Titan: Gilgarsh (if there was any doubt) Only piece that I believe is a lot better than GFD. Come on... a 14 to attack with F/L and can hit 4 targets?... thats just sick.... not to mention dealing 7 clicks of damage himself.

IMO the Great Fire Dragon is the best MDF. A lot of people have different opinions on this but from what ive seen the GFD holds its own and is able to dish out tons of damage to the oposition wetehr its formatioms (three taget F/L) or 'bounding' 26 inches to deal 7 damage to a amazon draconum. of course as with all MDF's and titans they really shine in conquest

I agree the GFD is the best MDF for conquest, but the best titan is the Stonethrower. Its cheap and nasty.

For smaller games the best MDF is the KI charger chariot. The Stonethrower is the best titan for small games too.

So what you're saying is that I SHOULDN'T have given the GFD to my brother for his birthday (which I also managed to score for a very low price)?

Like bshugg said, for smaller games you can't go wrong with KI Chariot or Orc Stonethrower.

For bigger games I like GFD for range combat, and VSD for melee combat. Both hit extremely hard, and are an asset to any Conquest army.

In 300, the GFD can be used to very deadly effect :D

am i really the only one who likes the PID... i mean come on... you can freeze four guys at once

I would have to say PID... i did a conquest army with him, inquisitor and regal freezing everyone.... no one touched me... my opponents creator never moved after that either.... as long as your oppoent doesn't have alot of MI... you kill all.. i find a nice compliment to my freezing army either to be IRHG othe VSD or GFD.... you freeze to push everything they have and then pound away for 2 turns with F/L, sweep, or venom.... Of course if your oppoent has like Titans/MDF, your also screwed.. but you take those down first and your fine.... :)

So i would have to say the PID!!!!
