its more like a themed (golem)army
but i want some feedback on it
i don't expect to win but the other army's will have a hard time bringing it down, i hope :)
so here it is :
2 Blade Golem Standard Atlantis Guild 33
1 Blade Golem Standard Atlantis Guild 33
1 Blade Golem Tough Atlantis Guild 36
1 Blade Golem Weak Atlantis Guild 29
1 Pearl Level 3 Unique Atlantis Guild,Hero 48
1 Shield Golem Weak Atlantis Guild,Knights Immortal 60
1 Atlantean Swordmage Tough Atlantean Empire,Imperial Legion 28
I think this army will be a pain in the arse for other armies IMHO. I'm not certain what your set up is gonna be, but I personally, this is what I would do:
2 x 36pts ***Blade Golem
1 x 33pts **Blade Golem
3 x 29pts *Blade Golem
1 x 48pts Pearl lvl 3
1 x 60pts *Shield Golem
= 300pts
All the Blade Golems now have a 21 Defense vs. range. The entire formation can move in one turn.
I suppose for me, the most important thing would be the formations. The ***Atlantean Swordmage, while a cool piece, doesn't quite fit formation wise while this way, the entire army can move in 2 turns. If you move the formations close enough together, you could always surge with all but one of the Blade Golems, then move the Shield Golem one Blade Golem in base with Pearl for a Defend/Healing w/ Surge protection formation and heal anything that needs it. Just my thoughts.
the ***Atlantean Swordmage is in the army just so i have a Atlantean Empire fig in it.
our local warlord wanted a fig from the force your playing for to be in your army.
and because the rest are atlantis guild and not Atlantean Empire , i just wanted to be sure at least 1 of my figs was Atlantean Empire
the points i needed to get to 300 was 28 so there he came in it :)
i also was thinking that formations were very important for this army and my setup would be the same
Fair enough. Given that though, if you can get your hands on Khurga, you could downgrade a ***Blade Golem to a *Blade Golem and remove the **Blade Golem, leaving you 40 extra points for him. This way, you have a decent peice with Leadership to soak up some action tokens.
