Ok, we all know the first part of the USA Nationals at Gencon this year will be a sealed tourney. My question is what will the second part of the tourney consist ? Is it a 300 point constructed, 400 point, etc. Cureous minds want to know. The more time the better so we can plan out an army and debate them here on the forums.

I'm not sure that the first is sealed last year wasn't, it was constructed. Don't worry to much, after German Nats worry because then you know what the main architype is going to be at our Nats IE Stormmaul and to go way back Fellreapers

This years US Nationals is sealed on Day 1, at this moment. That's what it is listed as currently and am fairly sure it will remain that way.

I'm preparing for a 300 point constructed for Day 2 right now unless I find out otherwise.

so whats the outcome of the german nationals ?

The german nationals will ne from 07/01 to 07/03, so you have to wait a bit for the results.

Sealed first is much better than Sealed second (as indictated by last years Nationals). If you make Sealed second, anyone who has a poor record is just going to quit if they don't have thay great of a pull.

About 45 days away....any official word on how part 2 of the USA National will be played ? I would hate to find out the day before and have to simply throw an army together. You would think it would be planned out by now.

They have trouble getting the monthly scenarios up before the first of the month. I would not be surprised to find out around ides of August.
