The Solonavi Destroyer is the first of the Sinister Big 5 to make an appearance in Nexus, and despite the upgrade, he clocks in at only 7 points more than his previous incarnation. Now sporting the Wing Speed type, Wand Attack type, and Magic Immune Defense type, the Solonavi is a flying blaster that is a major threat to other Wand-type figures. Although the Destroyer has lost an inch of range, he now sports a steady ranged damage of 3, taking the risk out of rolling for damage. In keeping with the theme of steady and copious damage, the Destroyer sports a long seven clicks of Stormfire, allowing him to blow apart formations without any problems. His last click of Stormfire is also his first click of Life Drain, which continues through to the end of his 10-click dial, allowing him to come back from even the most devastating of damage. The Destroyer has lost his Ram, and several inches of speed in his upgrade to Wing Speed type, but beyond the ability to Soar, the Destroyer starts his dial with a click of Bound, giving you the option to either blast a formation with Stormfire or reach out and touch a single figure from 21 inches out. With his +3 Attack Bonus and starting 9 Attack, the Destroyer won’t have any problems hitting what he shoots at, either. All of his stats are incredibly steady, staying absolutely the same for the first three clicks of the Destroyer’s life (10 Speed, 9 Attack, 18 Defense, and 3 Damage), before losing a point from everything but Damage. Although the Destroyer’s Speed and Attack stay high and solid, his Defense falls off after he’s been tagged, dropping steadily until it is a low, low (but very healable) 11 on his last click.
In common with many of his fellows in Nexus, the Destroyer’s cheap cost allows him to be outfitted with a variety of items to enhance his abilities. The Scroll of Storms duplicates his Stormfire ability, but takes his Ranged Damage up to a huge 6 for a turn, while the Staff of the Silent Citadel allows him to blast through opposing Spell Resistant warriors, and several other items also significantly upgrade his abilities. With his high Defense and ability to Soar, the Solonavi Destroyer is also a good choice as a sorcerer, although given his abilities, you’ll probably want to make him a front-line sorcerer set up to blast away at foes rather than a back-line support sorcerer. It might even be worthwhile to slap a cheap Spellbook on the Destroyer and steal your opponent’s tricked-out Unique with Spiritbind.

Probably the sneak peeks were written before WizKids decided to make Nexus the last set. When they did that, they speeded up the stats released for the set.
This is still the first of the big 5 to get a "Sneak Peek."
The Tormentor was the first of the Big 5 that we got to see. Her name is Cindrata or something close to that. I'm too lazy to look it up right now :p
In any case, did anyone notice that the destroyer is NON-UNIQUE??? WHOOT!!! Sonn I will be able to field 2 of these AND the original w/ PoD and MSB (or a second POD). FEAR THE SOLONAVI!!! MUAHAHAHAHA
Oh and Codex of light is a really good book too. Though the Book of Mists is a bit better because it offers GF.
Kimesaya is the Tormentor and the stats are in the units section, and Book of Mists not only requires the Oracles of Rokos subfaction but also the :boot: speed type...
I don't think this is a figure I will personally use.
litedragon - That's Kymesaya to you :p ;) hehe, not that I like the Solonavi or anything :P
Also, I don't think the Book of Mists REQUIRES the Boot speed type, but rather it gives the wielder the boot speed type instead of what they have printed. (I don't have my card right handy though)
Originally posted by Dragoncius Actually Cindrata is the new Am Drac.... If u refer to Potion of Dueling with PoD....then its not possible....they are :wand: .
Pfftt!!! Great players don't let technicalities stand in the way of devastating combos!!! :p
