When the game comes out, will it be possible to use the equipment from a prototype character on a released character, for tournament use. For example, Agent Midnight's scaling rope. The prototype figures have the necessary dice, but would the info be available for the second run figures and equipment.

I couldn't answer that. Tradtionally, though, WK does not allow promo figures, in any way, shape or form, into tourney play... Especially considering balancing issues that may arise.

I would say, simply, "Don't plan your tourney startegy around it."

It all depends on if the base of the prototype figure says "Promotional". If that is the case you should not be able to use the equipment.

The presentation of the game play information on the equipment is very different between the promo fig and what I have seen as final release figures. So it will be very easy to tell where the equipment came from.

On the plus side it is much easier to read the actual release equipment point and dice values.
