I bought a set that is on the way so I haven't actually played yet. I was wondering there is a damage bonus on the base and a bonus number on the tape. are they both representing each other or are these 2 seperate bonuses?

They are the same bonus.

they're the same unless it's a misprint like the one on liada's tape. she ids said to have a +1 on the yellow range as well as the red while her base gives her the +1 only on the red range. the erratta on this is that the base covers the bonus given, so the bonus on the tape is bogus.
