I was just looking at the promo pics and noticed that the stats are in front of the pilot instead of behind. Is that a mix up or how they are supposed to be. Do any other clix games do that? All I'm familiar with is mechwarrior.
Yes, MK figs have the stats up front. I like it this way better since it makes it easier to read my oppnents dial. I really SHOULD be familiar with my own dial enough not to have to look at it as much.
Personally, I have zero interest in the ground combat game, so unless these figs have a (real) use in the aerial combat game I'll probably pass on them. Adding pilot ground combat rules to Crimson Skies is like adding competitive rules to MK Dungeons. I'm not saying it won't be any good, heck it could be awesome, it just iisn't something that sparks my interest.
for MWDA they move the stuff to the back to allow for more room for the scuplts. it is actaulyl kinda nice because it is easier to read your own dials, and you dont have to worry about the scuplt getting in the way.
so far MWDA is the only one to have the stat slot in the back

The thing is, that when you buy an aces pack you aren't buying JUST the pilot figures...but their planes as well. I will almost bet that, although you may not play the aces part of the game, you will want to buy the packs to get the aircraft.

The ace figures look like they only have 2 stats. Probably attack and defend.(2 symbols on the left side of dial) What about damage and movement. I hope they have clan abilitites like team abilities in HC. Does anyone have an overhead pic of the aces that they can share with us?
I dont think anyone will be able to post an "overhead" veiw of a figure untul the game comes out. Wizkids keeps a tight wrap on the Stats and dials of the figures before the release date
Yea if we see anything it won't be till a couple of weeks before the release. I think the dials will be similar to a MK dial with attack, defense, damage, and speed. It will say the range on the upper pad. I think all the aces will have a ranged attack that could be used like a close combat attack like the MW infantry can.
