"Conspicuous by their absence were any 2004 releases for Crimson Skies, ShadowRun, Creepy Freaks, or IndyClix. According to WizKids, none are planned at this time. "
That is too bad. I am not one to cry about the "death" of the game, though. I am pleased they realised as much as they did. I'll continue to enjoy the game with the units realised.
Cheers,
Van
its not death but Unconsions. Ok the shops here recieved the previews to order for August. And No CS so the next posibel released date is september. That sucks. They shoud do less breakfast with blahblah blah and shoud more work. O i forgot in september the con session starts again. Is by Wk any one working or do they only partys.

My local is Columbia, MO...I'm not the one in charge, but the owners of the venue are really hyped about CS. Pretty much whenever there is a Jr. event for HeroClix we're gonna get together and fly (this is about once a month).
Our first time in the sky will be March 29th...I give details of it's inevitable success when I can!!
Rapier what Wk have done is also unfair. They came up last year whe have to go this con and this con then we have to look more on oure money makers and then they open the sports. Why didnīt they say ok we stoped CS? Here they will sell less. The ventures here stoped to sell the most Wk products because they spoiled them as well as the players.
This is a copy of an exchange between Gray_Death_Legionnaire and Magister regarding the status of Crimson Skies on the Wizkids CS Forum.

Magister's Reply
That's fair. The way it was put just sounded like we'd officially shelved the lines you refer to or put them out to pasture in some formal way, which isn't the case.

I find Magister's reply to be somewhat criptic. You could take it as: We have no intention of producing this game for we-don't-know-how-long, but we haven't officially stopped producing it for we-don't-know-how-long.
Or perhaps: We haven't oficially closed the line, but we may never produce anything again, either.
For a long time on this board, the discussion ran hot and heavy as to whether or not WK had suspended the line. There was no announcement made by anyone in authority. People begged for a company response, but all we received was comment from envoys and other "in the know" people who swore the game had not been suspended.
A WK rep finally (after months) says the game is suspended when nailed down by Grey_Death. I think what many of us are saying is that WK is reluctant to say anything that will rock the boat vis-a-vis their product lines. We had no answer, then doublespeak, then an admission. It isn't hard to believe that, somewhere down the road, someone will drag an admission out of WK that the line is indeed cancelled.
I know it's easy to be cynical, but WK handles things rather poorly at times. That makes some people angry - can you really blame them?

I'm only gonna post it once, and since TechLee acually has a thread for it, it's gonna be there..
Check it out. Thread title: CS Event; Columbia, MO or something like it!
