If you read my journal, you can tell how this army turned out. I did not plan it, but IT works beautifully with Gwin's non-LE ability. It can help you give your other units a +1 AV if Gwin succeeds in an attack (helped along by IT), and that can mean the difference between a hit or miss. Also Grey Hunter's secondary with Anti-Personnel was useful against large infantry formations. I was not entirely impressed with Reaver, but it's AMS system helped reduce damage in some instances and Radick's special ability meant a greater chance of reducing damage by 1.
Overall this army worked well in SL II. I think I will be using Grey Hunter far more often than I anticipated, though it would not be a faction pure army.
I was more impressed with it than I thought I was going to be. Of course that's cause it put some serious pain on my units. If you had a chance to play it again maybe switch out reaver for something else, like a CNC Vixen or a Jackalope of some house or clan? Just to get a few more units in there that can still hit hard.
:) Amusingly I use those Mechs (the wolf ones at least) in my Wolf pure forces a lot... Yes, IT is huge for Gwin Fetladral's special ability, and it makes the C Hawk with the RISC APM actually quite impressive
The Jaguires were perfect for this scenario. 12 attack with 16" range for just over 100 points. And they can merciless DFA. Very nice if you ask me. And besides that, not only was my army faction pure, it was also regimental pure. :P

Eh...I didn't think that Jaguars had jump jets as equipment. Anyway, I would have done something similar for a Steiner or Davion army...since they both have Jaguars to utilize. IMO, they are probably the best 'Mechs to benefit from this scenario. Although I wouldn't rule out one of the Firepower Zeuses either (execpt the CJF version) as a good beneficiary of the rules. The Nyxes also could benefit (more the Twins than "Kolyu" or the RotS ones) and so could the Jade Hawks ("Milargo" w/ Stark Clone comes to mind).
