I'm always experimenting with new ideas on making Mechwarrior wallpapers, and here is my latest creation. Its a starmap of the Inner Sphere of 3132 (I think, I may be off by a year or 2).

I made the colour of the stars of each territory to represent their factions, and added a glow for extra effect. Enjoy!

Thanks. I didn't realize it, but when I made this wallpaper last night it was late and now that I look at it again, it does need to be brighter. I removed the greyish haze over the background stars too.

I apologize to everyone who viewed the above starmap as it was the wrong quality and resolution version. I have now uploaded the correct version, which will be better quality. Remember that all of my wallpapers are at a resolution of 1152 x 864 (just click on the link, then again on the picture to get the full size)

whats the broken up purple faction in the "southwest"? im guessing house marik?

what are the grey factions scattered all over the map?

is this before or after liao incursion?

Thanks for the update, roosterboy. I wasn't sure how correct I was. I have finished the starmap wallpaper for 3136, and I have also made a full size (5700 x 5100) map including planet names. Don't worry, its still less than 1mb, and good enough quality.
