Here's the deal: I've started playing more and more 1.0 recently, and to that end, I've recently acquired some very potent KI cavalry. Here we play pre-ML nerfing (at least for now... The nice thing about playing a dead game is that you can change incarnations at a tip of the hat :p), so F&P and ML-Ram are top concerns. Fortunately, however, since I provide all of the figures for games I play in, I'll never have to worry about ADrac or Bakus -- I don't have them! The only big Bounders with which I'll have to contend are Magus Anendu (a toughy for this army, but c'est la vie), Kermit (this army laughs off a 10 attack), and, unfortunately, Corpheus (I think I'd rather face the Drac with the army...). A single OST is a legitimate concern, as is a Striker... Basically, all the biggest, baddest archetypes of 1.0 minus certain facets of Big Bound.
Anyway, after all this ranting, I'll be you're wondering what this army actually is. I'll tell you: it's a classic. All throughout 1.0, I had wished that I had the ponies with which to play this army... and now I'd got them! Ladies and gents, I present to you the Tank as Wkura meant it!
My main concern is that I'm using a relatively fossilized version of a great tactic -- can this duke it out with Corphy? Is Magus Anendu's high-attack-MB-Bound too much for this steamroller? I'm sorry if these are silly questions; I really have very little experience with this army.
For those you that prefer 2.0, don't worry, I haven't forgotten you! Since I'll be lucky if any of you read this thread, I'll economize and pack a bit of everything into it... Maybe you'll like something enough to post ;) Another figure I picked up recently was the Pyre Spirit. What a bad dude! PA is an excellent defensive ability, and with all his auto-damage, he can put the serious hurt on some bad boys of the 2.0 world. But really, do you want to Ram Varatrix with 87 points? No. The solution? How about 29 points?

I can't think of too many figures with both damage reduction AND Ghostform, but I have a recyclable Shade to distract them all game if need be. Rava does his thing, and can Summon the Wraith or the Pyre Spirit in a sticky situation -- I can imagine that having to deal with either not once, but twice would be a nightmare for my opponent. The sorceror is very supportive, providing multiple healing options, resilience in the form of the Familiar Shade, and uber-relic protection in the form of Fumble. The Wraith can either pick on support or take their big gun head on, depending on exactly what their big gun is, while the Shades and Pyre can absolutely wreck anything without damage reduction.
There, I hope you enjoyed those, and I hope that you guys will have some armies to post here soon!
Initially I was surprised by the Solonavi loss; I thought that with all the fancy 2.0 stuff like soaring and 21" bounds and Mindtap they'd wipe the floor with the dracs. Then I went back and looked at dials... And man are those dracs solid! If you can whip one up, I'd love to see a bit of a battle report of the rematch.
I finally got in some KI LEs I'd purchased, so I'm now I'm planning on building the tricked out Tank:
Again, it's a shame I'm 6-7 years behind the curve on this one, but better late than never :D My next project is to build an army for High Priestess Kess that maximizes her potential; so often I want to play her but just find Rowan to be the better figure.

All in all, it wasn't a very long game. It would have gone a lot worse for me, but my opponent was horribly allergic to pushing damage, so he avoided pushing at all costs.
Sounds like luck was not with either of you; all those 1's and 2's on MB's and WM's. Personally I would've tried to take more advantage of the healing as the Solo player, but hey, I also probably would've played Varatrix :p Thanks for the report, it was a great read!
The Infantry Captain leads the KI squadron fastly (12'') through the battlefield, following the all-purpose Striker, and the High Elf General slays everything in front of him (using the KI formation, if needed).
Corrupted is often 6-7'' before them, ready to heal or to strike some advanced enemy figures.
The little, beloved Imp is -as usual- a human-shield or a rope around the leg of some enemy.
Fast, strong, resistent.
The only weakness is the lack of another ranged attacker.
The backbone of this army is: Solonavi Striker, Corrupted Priest *, Grave Robber (any) and Infantry Captain ***.
With this backbone and its combination with other figures I won several tournaments.
Theese days I'm playing MKConquest and I use almost the whole set of KI horsemen (the ones with BattleArmor) with 2-3 figures with Def18+Defender (like Paladin Priest and Sir Mishler) behind them, so they have 20 of defense against ranged attacks.
Strong.
The majority of the time, when my friends and I play games, we prefer not to use relics and spellbooks. It keeps the game more balanced. That, and since I have practically everything, it keeps me grounded too.

Eheheheh...I guess!
Many old friends of mine left MK when MK2.0 came in our comicstore, because they felt themselves...teased from wizkids (the most of the old miniatures were banned), and the remaining part abanoned it when a young boy played, in a tournament, a single unique figure equipped with 2-3 relics: it was immune to every type of damage...
I think that relics could have greater potential in Dungeons than in Rebellion matches, but they were realized too...mmmh...we say "sgrave
"...too powerful.
In my opinion, with MK2.0 the Wizkids tried to realize a product with some good improvement in rules and in miniatures, but I think that at the end they surrendered to their thirst of dollars and renounced to test relics and domains in the right way, realizing an unbalanced game.
Err...sorry for the terrific use of articles and prepositions! XD
