is this game easy to learn....or does it take a while to learn??

it's not terribly tough, though I've been playing for a couple weeks and it seems I'm learning some little new thing every day :)

If someone sits with you and plays one game and explains to you what they are doing, then it is easy. It is hard to learn if all you have is the rule book.

It's harder to learn the intricacies, but not that hard to learn enough to have fun.

Play the game. Read the the rules. Play the game. Read the rules. And continue until your beating opponents in your sleep.

A minute to learn... A lifetime to master. :p

I'd say it takes closer to an hour or two to learn.

There's an online demo at tyhe Upper Deck website, it does a really good job explaining the game.

I read the online rulebook and understood it almost completely. Then again, I have been playing card games for about a year.

To paraphrase the others: It's easy to learn for casual game purposes (the basics are pretty easy to get, especially with the Online tutorial). However, it'll take awhile to master and there are some complicating little tidbits that'll take time to get the hang of.
