I need 74 more cards, all rares, to give me 4 of each card plus 20-30 each of the armies (except robot destroyers and mk IV's).....

So, my question is, do I spend $300+ to buy the cards individually on the net (I'm not even considering trying to get 74 cards on ebay, so not an option...have been royally screwed there a couple times), or do I buy 4 boxes, get 96 rares, hope I'm lucky and trade for the rest?

VS isn't real big in my area yet, it's starting to trickle in the players, but the store where I play magic hasn't been able to get 8 players together at one time for a sanctioned tourney....they're gonna try again this sunday.

So thats my dilemma...

300 for 4 boxes? Where i live you can get 4 boxes for $200 'n' change..

But yes, I beleave IMO you should get boxes and trade for what you need. More then likely you'll get most of the cards you need and the rest you need you can trade for.

get the boxes but find a cheaper place.

The $300+ is to buy the cards online individually....boxes near me, if I can find them, go for $65-$83 each.....

Get two boxes and trade.

Or, you could just buy a few boxes and trade people here.. as you get closer you can give ebay a try again, i've been unlucky there 2 times, but i got my stuff back, and had over 200 succeeful transactions! You just gotta be smart about who you buy from and how you pay for it ;)
