i'm trying to decide for wizard world if i should play them or not. a 1 drop is useful, it'll give me some fuel for heroic sacrifice and circle defense, but I love playin a beatstick like wonder girl or a card with some serious advantages like Robin turn two. share your opinions
beast boy can be dropped later. You don't need to meet every single drop in titans if you can have a larger advantage in characters...for example, the hawk/dove boost will be much more useful turn 3 against some army characters, where you can rush in and cripple longshot early. Then you can drop beast boy turn 4 and let your opponent figure out how to deal with it...turn 4 gives you many options, and that's just one of them. Remember that BB isn't god.
No, he's just REALLY awesome cause any Titan's deck worth it's salt is playing TTG! x 4.
I really like Hawk and Dove, I really like Tim Drake, I really like Donna Troy, I really like Pantha. If you don't have Beast Boys I'd definitely suggest playing Hawk and Dove but pack some Roy Harpers as well.
Pantha... meh, hate it. I usually wanna make my drops. It would be pontless to play BB turn 4 when I can play kid flash and readyhim with the useless dove
Yeah, Dove is a great one to exhaust for all sorts of effects. The free Hawk is a bonus. I play them both all the time. There are many other times I've used Dove to pay an exhaust cost. She's also great fodder for Puppet Master.
yes dove and hawk are both very good but i personaly like to play with beast boy i think that he can be very good.
you see the one draw back of dove/hawk is this:
lets say you have a dove, a hawk, and a bart allen out in play. now lets say that bart allen and dove both get stunned during this turn, who would you rather kill dove or bart allen?
i would say dove. so now you only have a 6/6 and a 2/2 out in play.
so basically what im saying is that their main problem is that they're two different characters. and inorder for them to really work you have to have both out in play.
if you have kid flash out and hank/dawn and have to ko dawn, isnt that BETTER then having beastboy and kid flash out and getting them both stunned? im gonna have to say Yes. honestly the only 2 reasons not play hank and dawn is they get stunned by flametrap, and it takes up more space to run hank and dawn (which probly isnt even true, i currently play 3/3 i could possibly easily go down to 2/2)
Actually, even if dove or hawk is stunned, the non stunned one will still get the bonus for having the stunned one out. dont forget that unless a card specifically says "non stunned" it will always count stunned characters because you still control them.

Exactly.
In a war of attrition, which this game is somewhat, having that advantage come turn 3 is really good.
You could play pantha as your one drop, thus having a possible 4 creatures out on turn 3, which is nothing to laugh at, and we're not talking sentinel weak creatures by turn 4 either. If you've gotten your creatures stunned, if you've done some counter-stunning, you should be ahead in the numbers game.
1 pantha or optitian for a drop i dont have
2 Dona troy if i hav even and they didnt drop a 1 drop Tim otherwise
3 Hawk/ dove or Arsenal if i dont get either
4 Kid Flash if everone is alive or Red Star otherwise.
That means 4-5 people out on turn 4 with Tim out And a TTGo! that so painful its stupid.
Hawk and Dove Are great for stuff like Heroic Sacrafice Circle Def Finishing move kid flash Arsenal Not to mention Thinning your deck of stuff you dont want.
