It's funny because I play alot of MTG VS online, and once a week at a local gaming store. Everybody still plays plenty of locations. On VSRealms whenever anyone posts a deck with locations the first thing someone says is "Have A Blast." I think it is a great card, but is there really enough to not rely on locations? Just want to get opinions. Thanks.
I think the reason that most decks will run a few HaB is that is can handle both locations and on-going plot twists. It's useful enough that against most decks, it will have -some- use, while against location-heavy decks, it may very well swing the game.
I used to run 2 in my BBH deck, but I took them out. I can handle TNB just fine as it is with Overload and Lost City. I use Global Domination to handle their locations.
it won't ruin locations, they can live on their own. it will, however, make them less effective. sort of put a dent in that oh so almsot perfect borhterhood deck. lol, makes some decks more like the others so to speak. puts everyone on the same level. lol.
well yeah, but it won't kill them. unless your playing against someone who has specificly constructed a location/ongoing hate deck (very unlikely, unless its neutron lock deck) your not in too much trouble. if your running 4 of each, then the blast can only take out 4 of them. i run 6 locations, non of which are nessary but are more helpful. i'm sure some ppl can even trick you into wasting a blast. you'll need some insurance but the blast isn't going to be much. and people plan for it by putting in 4 copies of theri locations/plot twist if they truelly need them. most of the time locations/ongoings are for boost, not nessary. though there are exceptions.
of course. it depends on strategy. if you need to get 8 resources on turn 8, playing ka-boom! won't help much. also, if your going for some sort of hand/deck control, have a blast! works better.

There is no room to use Salvage. You want cards that you can use 90% of the time regardless of when you pull them. Salvage will just be sitting there until they do something to get rid of your locations.
I was going to say the same thing. If you're packing 4x of necessary Locations, throwing Salage in will often just take up space. If one location goes down, odds are you'll draw another, or have another in your row. Salvage is an idea, but you shouldn't plan a deck around worrying about Have a Blast and packing Salvage.
against teen titans garth will snipe all your locations with his effect and have a blast you may have your opponent with card disadvantage and or heavy endurence loss
Have a Blast really won't stop people from playing locations and it shouldn't, now relying on your locations as heavily as BHH does, is another thing. Have a Blast does weaken the deck. Notice I said weaken, whether that means a ever so slight weakening to an already dominating deck, or taking bbh out of its top spot is still to be seen.
HaB is only good as the metagame. If the metagame has a great deck that relies on locations (like BBH), then HaB will be good. But when people who play BBH see that their deck is not working out anymore since everyone is running HaB, they will switch to the next best thing which is FF Beats/Faboom. Once people meta for that, they will go back to BBH :)
