chicgo has showed some wierd deck s like puppet master control and doom f5 etc.the titians looks like the deck of the day but seems to fall short to setinals(i know from experience). but what deck do you think will take the prize?

Doom varieties will win since most decks are TT.

well i just came back form the 10K and i got 12th place na im getting a invite to gencon because there were 2 people that had to give up 2 invites because they already had them so i am qualified ya but in the top 8 there is no dc decks at all its all marvel and the 10K was filled with FF decks it was crazy but there were only like 75 people but fanatstic four is gonna get the top places this time cause there is like 4 FF decks it the top 8

I would think That TT and Pig vomit would give FF toys a run for its money, Ya know with the Commish and SuperBoy.

I'd put my money on the Doom/F5 deck right now.

ok there where no GCOD decks at all there there was only one wild vomit deck so in the whole thing there was only 2 army decks i was so happy because before the tourny i took out all my total anarchy's but they would still help against teen titans but i was suprised that no TT deck made it to top 8

FF Beats is going to win it unless all 4 FF decks play each other first round.

Brain isn't functioning totally, anyone able to total up the number of players that were there? Seemed I got to around 20 and it looked to be about 1/3-1/4 of the decklist listed in the tournament.

EDIT: I counted a total of 10(+-1) pure TT decks.

when the 10k started there were 36 tables
so 36 x 2 = 72 ppl roughly, i think 1 person got a bye
so that brings it 2 73, pretty small 4 a 10k i think
there were a good amount of TT decks
but they didn't make as strong a showing as every1 thought
there still were some successful ones tho'
but i think F4 was the most used deck there
they were everywhere

i used my Phoenix Force deck, made mistakes and learned alot
argghh, i got 32nd :(

I think the reason for the low turnout is becuase it is so close to Gen Con in terms of distance and date of the event. Most people who had to make the decision between Gen Con and WW would choose Gen Con.

Not only is there a Pro Circuit event, which they MIGHT be able to qualify for in one of the 3 last chance qualifiers, in case they don't there is still a 10K event they could attend.

almost eveybody here in my neck of the wood opted to wait for gencon since its only one week apart and the cash flow is drying up if you know what i mean :confused:

turnout for gencon should be good, just wondering what will the majority of the decks will be used at indy, hmmm...

The 10k had 72, but the PCQ the same day had only like 10 cause no one wanted to risk dropping out of the 10k.

I was supprised that the turn out was so low for the comic tournament. I mean they were giving away the frist appearance of wolverine, and the TO was offering 600 cash on the spot to the winner. I was suprised it wasn't more of a draw then it was.
