I don't know if this has been asked before or not. Is it possible to have a mastermind chain? Dr. Doom who masterminds damage to (Vet for purposes of this example) Nebula, who masterminds damage to Lex Luthor, etc.? Or does mastermind end on the fig who was attacked?

Yes that's possible. But only if the figures in the chain have lesser points value each one than the previous figure.

I thought you could mastermind damage from the initial attack and that the character who receives the damage can't use any defence reducing capabilities.

Mastermind is not a damage reducing effect or power, it "redirects" the damage, which is not the same thing and thus is possible to Mastermind onto successive smaller characters.

CM covered this in one of his old topics on this subject. Yeah, I was educated yesterday.
