Choose a team affiliation from among characters you control.
Ongoing: Affiliated characters you control lose all team affiliations and gain the chosen team affiliation.

I have a question, say I have a doom card on the field and used forced Alliance to call Doom. But want to play carnage that has loyalty. When Carnage gets summoned he gains dooms team immediately but is that before the loyalty is checked for? I am hoping that it would work but I doubt it would. I was just hoping for all you that know the rule book inside and out to flap down some wisdom on me. Thanks in advance.

Loyalty requires that you control at least one character of a given affiliation before you can recruit the character card in question.

So if all your characters have the Doom affiliation, you cannot recruit a character with loyalty to any affiliation other than Doom.

That is what I was thinking, but of course I was hopeing that someone would prove me wrong. Thanks Zaxx.
