At the pre-release, someone gave me $20 for a foil bamf.

Though I do play for fun, and have no intention of playing in a tournement.

If you play X-Men, Bamf seems to be a staple card to run.

It is woth what ever someone is willing to pay for it.

It's still way too early to tell IMO. Prices are heavily inflated right now, as people who want to be the first to have a card will pay big bucks for it.

My advice is to buy your packs, see what you get, and then worry about buying singles. You have over two weeks before you can use the cards in a tournament anyway. :)

It will probably be one of the higher priced cards from WoS as it makes just about any X-men deck better. $20 seems about right at the moment but who knows what it will end up at after the set has been out for a little bit.

Personally, I think it will be at least a $10 card. What will be interesting is which card is worth more: Bamf! or Ultimate Sacrifice.

Bamf is one of those cards that will be priced very high and not deserve it. I've already cut it out of my X-Men. There are other cards that do better things.

It's only absurdly high right now because people are hard-up to make a X-men deck that is more competitive and Web of Spider man isn't selling everywhere right now. I see it being on the same level as signal flare/clobbering time/boris for the X-men.

It will be $20 until the first big event that has WoS legal, and when X-Men don't come in the top 4 it will drop down to $15

i wonder how this one guy got so many cards so fast. he's got 16 bamfs on ebay along with hundreds (wild guess) of other MSM cards.

He probably went nuts at a pre-release. 16 does seem like a bit much but I bet it was more than one person at one location. Either that or he has an inside hookup. The cards have already been manufactured (and have been since before last weekend) so getting a hold of them is the only issue.
