The new Mavel VS Tins are out. Each tin has 2 Marvel Boosters, 2 Spider-Man Boosters, and a Foil Variant Card. There are 4 foil variant cards: Spider-Man, Magneto, Wolverine, and Doctor Octopus.

1. Are these variants an oversized card similar to the ones given out at the qualifiers and pro circuit? Are they the exact same cards?

2. What version or drop are each of the variant cards?

I found a place that is selling tins for $11.25, which isn't that bad of a price just for 4 boosters. But toss in a cool tin and foil variant card, and I might buy a bunch.

What I'm asking is why bother releasing any of the tins other than Magneto? He just looks so cool!

Reasons to sell 4 tins instead of 1.


1. Sell more because most people will buy all 4.
2. They make great Holiday gifts.
3. It's a product that sells easily in the mass merchandise stores(Wal-mart/target/kmart).
4. Increased visibility for the game.

How much will they cost? Did someone say $11.25? What do they come with other than a variant card?

Where are these $11.25 ones? I've found $12.99 ($49.99 for 1 of each) here, but that $11.25 one eludes me (maybe cheaper in a 4-pack).

I don't know about only releasing the Magneto tin, because not everyone likes Magneto. I for one want the Spiderman tin instead cause he looks way cooler, in my opinion. Also, it gets more people started in the game. All Im waiting for now are some DC tins...

anyone got any pics of the tins? id the Wolverine one exactly the same as the Oversized promo that i've already got got the tournies? if so the :| meh!

intran, the art for the EA cards are right on the tin. what you see of the 4 characters on the tin will be the Extended art of the cards.

Are the pictures of the promos released yet? Would like to see what kind of pics they have. :)

The pics of the promos are different than the EAs. Just look at the box art on the tin and that's what shows up on the card itself.
