If you do an attack on a character you cannot use evasion on a stack after the damage to avoid your character from being stunned because there is no damage nor stack..err..i mean chain for that correct?

No, -- or rather yes that is correct.

If you're asking if you can use evasion during damage resolution, the answer would be no, because no one has priority at that time.

sorry to jump in on another topic but i didn't wanna start a new topic for another noob question but here it is i jsut bought the starter deck and some good singles i noticed some of them onslaught for instance have a 8 recruit cost but on the game board there isn't 8 slots how do you get more than the 5 resources? thanks

Anyways, my suggestion would be not to use the board, and just play on a flat table. Make sure there is adequate amount of space to put your resources/characters.

well not exactly a board its kinda just like mat with the spaces they give but i think you answered me uestion so there basically no limit to how many resources you can have out at one time i thought i was supposed to use that mat but igueess not thatnks

You can use it after pumps have taken place, although during damage calculation no you may not because no player holds priority as the attack has already gone through.
