Can Sentinel Mark 2 stop Jean Grey power...and if so is she still KO

She is exhausted, and the resorce stays.

Wrong Jean Grey. Jean Grey would be exhausted and KO'd. Then the effect would not work. So you would be smart to wait until you can stun the Sentinel or exhaust.

I am talking about the one that reads

Activate, KO Jean Grey >>> Return all characters in play to their owners' hands.

Costs paid are not returned even if the effect is negated.

So Jean Grey is KO'ed.

If you are talking about the 8 drop, then yes she is KO'ed

One of my best friends e-mailed megagame and they told him that mark 2 could not stop jean grey. They say because that jean grey is koed and that mark 2 can no longer target her. Is this true.

As indicated by the bold, Mark II targets the effect created by the character, not the character itself. The cahracter does not have to be in play in order for Mark II to negate the effect it created.
