Can the magneto in the comics actually fly, or does he just lift himself up with pieces of metal on his costume. I've wondered this for a while now and i can't seem to find the answer anywhere. please help.
Suit blocks small stuff he doesnt have time to react to, or that manages to get around his gravity wells.
Anyone whose read the latest star wars books knows you can shoot something at a precise trajectory into a gravity well and it will curve with the wells gravity, but not be smashed, and instead be accelerated into the target.
Sure he can fly, but did anybody else giggle like a school girl when sucked the iron outta the guards' body in X2 and shaped it into a disc to float out of his cell? No?
Well I did and d@mn you all for... QUESTION!!!
Magneto's plastic prison in X2 supposedly bore the seal of Stark Industries if you looked close enough, but I never saw this. Anybody see it?
Yea he basicly has totaly control over a fundamental Force of Nature. I mean he can pretty much control Gravity through Magnetism. He is Wicked Powerful.
In the comics he was the original designate for 'omega' class mutants (those that can affect the entire planet) and between the worldwide EMP pulse and various other things, i'd say that's a fair estimation of his power level
Hmmmm...considering he controls an even more powerful force of nature, isn't it possible that obscure-but-cool Avengers villain Graviton could beat Magneto?
And yes, Magneto is like unto a god. He controls electromagnetic fields, including that of the earth itself on occasion. He is so the man...er, mutant.:p
