While playing the other night my friend said he played against someone who had 4 exhausted unstunned players and he played 2 press the attacks at the same time.
Thus being able to ready 2 characters.
I'm not sure of the legality of this. It seems that when one card would act you wouldn't have the four exhausted to work the next card.
Is this a legal play?
As always, glad for the input and thanks so much.
Press the Attack
Plot Twist, 4 Play Press the Attack only if you control four or more exhausted non-stunned characters. Ready target character.
The only restriction is PLAYING Press The Attack(PTA). If you play one PTA, the effect will still be on the chian and your character has not yet readied, so you would play another PTA because you still meet the restriction of having 4 non stunned exhausted characters.

The guy told my friend that both of the cards were played at the same time. Thus he could ready 2
I felt the same most everyone else does. When you play the first you cannot use the second, beacause you've readied someone.
My understanding was always that it couldn't be done.
Sometimes you need to be a paralegal to play this game:cross-eye
That's right. As long as you chain the second PTA to the first PTA, the first doesn't resolve, and you still have 4 exhausted characters allowing you to play the second. Heck, you could chain 4 PTA's to ready all 4 characters if you're that lucky.
I really wish only those with the proper qualifications and/or experience would reply to these questions.
Or at the very least, read the card first. Not everyone stops by to read every reply. A lot of people (myself included sometimes) just read the first or second and assume that's that. You can easily spread misinformation this way.

That is not correct.
The legality of targets is checked twice: once upon announcement and again upon resolution.
Upon resolution, if there is at least one legal target remaining, or no target to begin with, the effect will resolve as fully as possible.
