Let's say I have a Terra and Dove on the field. You control a Bastion. Your Bastion attacks my Terra, and I call it legal. I then play Heroic Sacrifice. The first thing I do it stun a non-defending Titans character. In this case, it's Dove. Now, for the second part of Sacrifice. Even if Terra is exhausted, the card can still be played. But if it's ready, you need to exhaust it.

EDIT: After playing sacrifice, Bastion remains exhausted, and the attack ends. You take no damage.

New Teen Titans - It powers-up all Titan characters you control. Say you're team-attacking with Red Star and Tim Drake. You flip NTT and both characters get +1 ATK and +1 DEF. Pretty simple.

Barbara Gorden - During the recovery phase, if she is ready, you may activate her, and draw a card. Now, when at the end of the recovery phase, she will ready, but you're not allowed to play any effects, so you may not exhaust her again.
