It seems to me that there are few elite meta-game decks out there, running the same or at least a very similar set of cards. Each deck has its set of signature plot-twists. Seeing these same decks over and over can get pretty dry. NTZ seems to me a fantastic card to combat this situation. Basically, once you have started a game and your opponent knows what you are playing, s/he can play NTZ on a critical turn, name your signature plot twist, and severely hurt your chances of winning.
On the other hand, if you get creative and play a deck that looks to your opponent like one of the big, elite decks, but is really a different set of cards, you can potentially fool him/her into wasting NTZ, or at the very least, avoid becoming crippled by it. As a result, this card is great for the game because it tends to coerce people to bring new decks to the table, rather than the same old stale decks (CS, TT, TNB, etc).
I wonder if the folks at UpperDeck had planned on this? I wonder if this card will actually help bring some more new, interesting decks into the game that would not have surfaced otherwise? Anyone see any evidence of this?
If this was an idea behind the making of NTZ, I would congratulate them for making the game more interesting and fun.

to me i think null time zone is only good agenst net deck because u know what your opponent is playing other wise if u dont know what their playing then u dont really know what to call
witching hour was gonna tear the meta a new one, but NTZ had to prance in with it's deck stopping-ness and ruin my day and weeks of assembling my deck.
NTZ is actually becoming a gift more than a curse like most of us (myself included) believed. It encourages you to build something new to neuter 4+ cards in your opponent's deck, which can really hurt if they draw 2-3 of them.
