I don't know if anyone has been watching the coverage for 10K auckland, but of the 5 Teen titans decks listed in the Metagame breakdown, 4 of them are now in the Top 8.
Now I know that Titans never really fell out of power so much as Sents made them take a nap, but are the little kids really back in that much force?
the other decks in the top 8 FYI are two World's Greatest Heroes, a CS deck, and the ultra burn deck 'high voltage'.
Both Good Guy decks are playing against Titans first round of Top 8. If only the GG's were running Field of Honor. Wrecks the usual Titans Go! trickery.
Hopefully the BWA HA's will serve them well against Press and Finishing Move.
Master-Mold/USB was so awesome back in the day, fond memories of electing to play Master-Mold over Bastion due to an abundance of Mark Vs.
Seems teched out against the off-curve decks while maintaining game against everything it beat before. I don't like 3 Nimrods, 1 Flying Kick, 2 Flame Traps, 2 of each location and a bunch of other 2-3 numbers but I really can't comment without testing the deck. Maybe because you only need to draw one of them per game it works. 1 Flying Kick and 3 Savage Beatdowns makes no sense whatsoever, one is better than the other. 1 threshold vs 5 ATK, which is it? I think if you want to enable an early Hounds lock then No Mans is better, so it should be 4 No Mans or 4 Beatdowns in my opinion.
Variety? There's four Titans decks in the top 8. Sure the field was diverse, but a whole lot of good that is when you're constantly getting Roy'd and TTG!'d.
that semi final match between Titans and Good guys was actually a blast to read, that's very rare in my book, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
