Here's a fun little way to play when you and your friends have all played each others decks to death...
1. Get a hat. Preferably a top hat, for maximum debonaire. (Do not be fooled into thinking that just any recepticle will do.)
2. Get some slips of paper.
3. On each slip, write a Trick. A trick is essentially a temporary errata to the rules, such as "Start with 80 endurance." or "All characters have invulnerability.". Make your own, I'm not giving you any more. You need as many as possible.
4. Before the game starts, simply draw a trick out of the hat, and follow what it says during the game. Easy and fun. Draw more than one if you're feeling daring.
Maximum debonnaire FTW. Outstanding idea. The strange thing? I left my Longshot hat at home today, the first time this year. Some things cannot be explained by coincidence.
Of course, if a top hat is not available, then alternatives must be considered. A fez perhaps? Or the bowler hat, brother of the top hat. What about the humble trilby? The adventurous fedora? The artistic beret? Or the noble and dignified deerstalker?
Would it be so bad to have strippers at tournaments? Strippers with little slips of paper in thier underwear?
If that was the case then I would believe the old adage: It's not about winning, it's about taking small pieces of paper out of a womans panties... or something like that.
