The following is a contest.
However, THE ONLY PRIZE WILL BE REPUTATION POINTS, so really just compete in it if it seems like fun to you. If it doesn't, don't spend the time in the hopes of winning some great prize, you'll be disappointed.
However, if everyone gives any entries they like reputation points, you could get alot of reputation points, depending on how popular this thread becomes.

Ok, here's the thing. I noticed that it had been a while since there had been any kind of official deck-building contest, so I decided to start a little one of my own to pass the time. I encourage people to participate if it sounds like fun to them, but this isn't anything official, so again, all I can give you is Rep points.
Here's my challenge:
Make a playable deck that incorporates at least 12 copies of one of the following 1-drop army characters, and then post that deck here for people to evaluate.
The deck must be legal (format doesn't matter), decently playable, and effectively incorporate the army of choice into the deck's strategy.
Although I'll make my own judgements of what I think meets these standards, I encourage everyone else reading this thread to take the time to give reputation points to any entries you think are fun and effective.
Sidenote: Although I don't expect this to become an issue, as I don't expect that many people to participate (hopefully some though), but I'm only considering the first of any deck type.
If someone comes up with a New Blood deck, and then you post another version of that deck, I won't give you credit. However, if you post another New Blood deck with a completely different strategy, I'll give it any rep points it deserves.

I would have liked a description of the strategy and reasoning behind the deck, but I think I put together what you're doing without one.
plot twists
2X attend or die
3X sorcerers treasure
4X enemy
4X funeral for a friend
2X creation of a herald
locations
3X birthing chamber
1X royal egg matrix
1X the ally
1X slaughter swamp
1X worldeater apparatus
equipment
2X catchers mitt
Prety much never take damage ever, get infy guys out with a mitt or funeral for a friend and exaust guys to recover creeping doom over and over. Might cut captin marvel if youre not ending up at 25 on 8 and just go starro-galactus.
4 Crowd Contol
4 Funeral for a Friend
4 Blind Sided
4 Vicarious Living
4 Mojoverse
pretty simple stratagy, mulligan for Longshot, call Wildebeest and Multiple Man, get lots of Wildebeest down and use Multiple mans ability whenever you can. Swing for the roof with Mojo.
4 Vicarious Living
4 Press the Attack
4 Crowd Control
4 Nasty Surprise
4 Milleniums
4 [team-up]
play lots of Army dudes, get lots of stunback, and have those Assassins swing for lots with the help of the Soldiers
Techno: “Creeping Frustration”
Characters
22 Creeping Doom
4 Zazzala ◊ Queen Bee, Royal Genetrix
1 Dr. Light, Light Shaper
1 Scarlet Witch, Eldritch Enchantress
1 Mantis, Power Parasite
3 Mr. Mxyzptlk, Troublesome Trickster
Plot Twists
4 Gang-Up
4 Secret Files
4 Men of Steel
4 Criminal Mastermind
Locations
4 Hard-Light Storage Tank
4 Birthing Chamber
Equipment
4 Catcher's Mitt
Techno’s description:
Hard mulligan for Zazzala or Secret Files. The card draw is ridiculous. You typically max out on resource points every turn and still have cards left in hand. You’re giving your opponents cards with Criminal Mastermind, but this is irrelevant. You really don't care what their board is, how many cards they have in hand, how many ATK pumps they have, and so on. You just do your own thing, and they are often pretty helpless. A typical turn 5 will see you with about ten Dooms in play, one wielding a Catcher's Mitt. Regardless of initiative, you pass your turn.
Opponent: I'll attack the guy with the Mitt.
You: Sure, I'll take 1.
Opponent: Attack the guy who can't be reinforced.
You: Exhaust him and another Doom, recover the Mitt guy, and take 1.
Opponent: . . .
And so on. You lose, on average, 3–6 endurance per turn and lose no characters. Eventually you kill them with Scarlet Witch or a couple of Mantis attacks.
The deck idea is my friend Paul O'Brien's, but since I don't think he posts on the realms here's a build from memory.
(I assume since it's not the 23rd yet that GBNF is all cool...)
The Flinstones Deck
12x Random Punks
12x Thuggee
4x Longshot; RFF
4x Ratcatcher
4x Crowd Control (could maybe be Funeral instead)
4x Flame Trap
4x Gone But Not Forgotten
4x Last Laugh
4x Savage Beatdown
4x Total Anarchy
4x Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters
Drop little guys, ping away and then when you have a bunch around flip Anarchy, Flametrap and chain to the KO effect with Last Laugh. Hopefully you do like 30 or so damage to them and gain about twice as much. The deck is named after it's "tech" level. I.E. Stone Age. :p

I like how spideysean didn't even bother to change the strategy notes at the end of the deck list.
Since I haven't seen any Vampire love yet, I'll bust out a pet deck of mine
13x New Blood
4x Dagger
2x Garth Aqualad
4x Deacon Frost
2x Hannibal King
2x Brother Voodoo
2x Morbius, The Living Vampire
2x Reaper
4x Blade, Daywalker
1x Dracula, Lord of the Damned
2x Gravesite
1x Plans Within Plans
1x Hypnotic Charms
4x Judge, Jury, & Executioner
3x Midnight Sons
4x Trial By Sword
Basically you want to get Blade out on 5 and Deacon with 4 NB's on 6. You can either go swarm with NB or curve with Garth - Hannibal - Brother Voodoo (Morbius if you need Hypnotic Charms) - Reaper - Blade - Deacon boosted for 4 (6 drop Drac is mainly flavor. C'mon, its a vampire deck.)
Gravesite and PWP will fill your KO'd with Deacon fodder; Quadromobiles, PWP and Infernal Gateway help with other recursion. Use Midnight Sons for free Quads and to use PWP if you need anything back from KO'd.
edit: Figured I'd post the MM deck I used to have as well:
16x Multiple Man
16x Wild Sentinel
4x Longshot
4x Senator Kelly
4x Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters
4x Birthing Chamber
4x Reconstruction Program
4x X-Men United
4x Vicarious Living
Pretty self-explanatory. Get army, get either a handful of kelly's or a row full of Xavier's Schools (or a mix of both) and burn, baby, burn

Now that's a fun little pet deck.
Rep point for you for finding a place for Deacon Frost. =D
